How does it work with Quotient?

Lookup Insightly Contacts
When adding Contacts to Quotes, include Insightly Contacts in lookup results.

Send emails to Insightly
Send a copy of new Quote and acceptance emails to a Contact in Insightly.

Connect to Insightly

  1. Click on your Account Name (on the top-right of your Dashboard), then go to Account Settings → Connected Apps → Insightly.
  2. Hit Enable for one of the services you require i.e. Lookup Contacts.
  3. Enter your API Key and web address for your Insightly account, then hit Connect. To find your API Key, log in to Insightly, go to User Settings (top right) → API Key.
  4. Login, and click Allow. You’ll be redirected back to Quotient.
  5. Hit Enable for any other services you require.

Lookup Insightly Contacts

Hit ‘Enable’ under 'Lookup Contacts', confirm and hit ‘Enable’.

  • When adding Contacts to Quotes you can include your Insightly Contacts in lookup results.
  • Insightly Contacts are indicated with an Insightly logo.
  • Once you select a Insightly Contact it will be saved (copied) into Quotient Contacts (only a person's name, email and company name are saved).

Send emails to Insightly

Hit ‘Enable’ under 'Send emails to Insightly', enter your Insightly drop box email address into the 'Insightly email address' field, hit the ‘Save’.

  • A copy of New Quote and Accepted Quote Customer Emails will be sent via CC.
  • A new Contact will be created in Insightly if it does not exist.

Where to find your Insightly Mailbox:

  1. Sign in to Insightly.
  2. Select User Settings (top right).
  3. Click Mailbox.
  4. There you’ll see your personal Mailbox, it'll look similar to:
