I commissioned Martin to look at Broom 35CL in January 2021. He carried out an inspection promptly and liaised with the current owner re access and systems on board.
No sea test could be carried out due to Covid restrictions, but he did a short form in the marina before the boat was lifted ashore.
His report was produced within two days. He discusses all points being raised prior to sending the report, so there are no surprises. The items covered are done so in great detail.
The boat will require a BSS inspection, which Martin cannot do, but his report flags all areas that may need attention or opening up before the BSS inspection, which is very helpful.
In summary, a very thorough, prompt and reassuring process.

First rate service from Maple Marine at very reasonable cost. The survey was carried out on time despite covid. Both the verbal and written reports were clear, enabled me to get a good understanding of what I was taking on, what should ideally be done as soon as reasonably possible, identified ongoing maintenance items and future options. I would not hesitate to use Maple Marine and Michael Pittilo again should the opportunity arise

I can wholeheartedly say that he conducted a thorough survey and allowed me to watch and ask questions as he carried out the survey. As a first time boat owner all of my questions were answered completely and politely.

This is the fourth boat Martin has surveyed for me and I wouldn't use anyone else. Professional, reliable, trustworthy and hugely knowledgeable makes him the only surveyor I will use. It also helps that he's an all round nice chap too.
