I recently commissioned Maple Marine to carry out a pre purchase survey for me at Bray Marina.
I sent the initial inquiry, via their website, on a Sunday evening. I was pleasantly surprised that I got a reply from Martin the same evening.
Martin was very professional in explaining the process, and spent a whole day on board carrying out a very detailed inspection. He followed this up with a very clear and detailed report the next day, along with a phone call to discuss.
All in all, a very professional service from Martin, who I would gladly recommend.

As a first time boat owner I cannot praise Martin highly enough, not only a thorough and concise report detailing findings, Martin was also very helpful in explaining a lot of things when I met him halfway through the survey (and probably asked some very silly questions) but he was very patient and answered all and made me feel not such a newbie. Prior to receiving the official report Martin telephoned and went through it all with me explaining all in very simple and honest terms. On top of all this he is just a really nice and likeable chap who has vast knowledge of boats. So pleased to have gone with Martin and I am pleased to say I am now the proud owner of my first boat! We wanted a thorough survey of our first purchase and Martin at Maple Marine did not disappoint.
Martins clear and in depth report included a video of the hull when out of the water and pictures of any other areas of concern.
Once we had full copies of the report, Martin called to discuss his findings and offered suggestions for any remedial work required.
We would definitely recommend Maple Marine and will use them again in the future if we change to another boat.

I was fortunate to meet with Mr Pittillo at the end of the survey as my future purchase had been crane lifted out so an inspection could be made of the hull and out-drive.
He briefed me on a few items that he would be including in his report, but on the whole nothing that was of significant concern.
His report was very detailed on the condition of both inside and outside of the vessel and of course the engine and out-drive.
I was very pleased I was able to see him in person but if I couldn't, he provided me with all the information I needed to make a decision.
