We received exactly what we were expecting. Before I placed our order I needed a few additional measurements. Jacob at TimberBuild was very quick to get back to us with what we needed. We are very happy with our custom adirondack bracket.

Waited over 4 weeks for 1 piece of wood mantle. Had 4 bolts to drill in, backplate to route and drill in, cut to length and sand. Seems like a very long time for a few hours work. Quality of cedar was good, bottom was very dark compared to face and top of wood. Not much grain at all on face, top and bottom had decent grain. Seemed like alot of time and money for what was received.

I had a really small job; three 4x12 cedar timbers for a pergola. TimberBuild was professional and easy to work with. I was never made to feel like my tiny little contract was an inconvenience or unimportant. The preparation was prompt and the timbers are beautiful. And the price was competitive; the best among multiple suppliers that I contacted.

Finding a solidly built Craftmans style column is tricky. My builder had put one in that was1/4 inch PVC. Looked ok, but attached a flag pole to it and the winds in my area just pulled a seam completely open.
I sent a message to TimberBuild because they have square columns, not expecting they could do it. Turns out they had made them in the past. Not only that they were able to build to exact dimensions I gave them, so I did not have to do any onsite modifications.
There were some tiny dents. Not sure if done in construction, during transport, or when I uncrated them. And it is western red cedar, if you look at too hard you can dent it.
It was crated extremely well. But given the size they pieced together 3 old pallets. Wish I had realized sooner they did that with square drive screws. Wondered why I couldn't crowbar them apart.
But they are easy to work with, will send you drawings to approve, make modifications after your drawing review, and I think for a custom one off job the turnaround time was great.

As a building contractor for over 30 years, I've come across more than my share of pathetic craftmanship & false claims when dealing with sub-contractors. Needless to say, I was a bit hesitant when ordering my 36" X 48" structural brackets for a project I'm presently working on. Plainly stated, these Douglas Fir brackets have exceeded my expectations; they are absolutely beautiful, and the craftsmanship is magnificent. Thankyou TimberBuild...ty young

Working with Jacob was great as we needed several custom changes. I then had them design and manufacture a mailbox post to hold two boxes and again the quality was amazing. Recommend highly.

I was building an over garage pergola and instead of spending all the time to build the brackets myself, I found this company to do it for me. I found a photo of a bracket that I wanted to replicate and I provided the adjusted dimensions and details I wanted changed from the original. They also helped me figure out the dimensions seen in the photo. They were also able to make it out of Redwood, which I wanted. I am very happy with the outcome. They did great work. Would definitely do business with them again for any future project

We wanted to add three large wooden arches to the ceiling of our music room. Estimates here at home (Greenville, SC) were about $6,000 per arch. TimberBuild produced a fine-quality product at less than half that amount and shipped them to us. Just as importantly their designer, Josh Newell, was remarkably patient and responsive to the numerous changes we requested during the design process, producing several revised drawings. He was readily available to our GC as well. We love the result! Highly recommend TimberBuild!

My experience with TimberBuild was outstanding. The person I dealt with (Jacob) was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was very helpful in selecting the best wood for my application. He also took care of modifying the standard designs to accommodate the pitch of my roof. The brackets are extremely well built, fit perfectly and look great, and were packaged very well for shipping. I couldn't be happier and look forward to dealing with TimberBuild again in the future.
