The installation and commisioning was done by Kobus himself with utmost neatness and attention to detail. Load shedding a thing of the past for our household. Very profesional and highly recommended.

Having dealt with a number of local companies in the Mossel Bay/George region the past few months, there a very few that delivered on the level of service one would expect as a Customer.
I can honestly say that Powerhour Solar are one of the few companies that are there to serve their Customers. It was more than a pleasure to work with Johan and his Team. At the starting phase on this project, I did enjoy interacting with Johan in making the selection on what system would suit my needs best, as it was extremely informative. Johan was also very willing to tweak the choice of components initially selected to accommodate my personal preferences. When I accepted the quote, I knew exactly what would be installed and when. The installation Team was superb and not only did an excellent installation, but they were also very meticulous in ensuring that the site was clean before they left my premises (something I have not experience very often of late).
And when there was an odd (minor) glitch or two, after the installation, the guys were extremely helpful and willing to sort the issues out - some were resolved after normal working hours.
In conclusion, the consultation, installation and support provided by the Powerhour Solar Team is of an exceptional standard and is much appreciated.

Being all new and with very little experience in solar energy, wishing to replace our very costly, less effective and unreliable Eskom electricity supply, we met Kobus Rautenbach at Powerhour Solar in George.
His intimate knowledge of the latest solar technology and associated products, as well as his sense of urgency to not only assist us but to tolerate our obvious lack of knowledge in this field, was and remain very comforting.
Kobus and his team are allways very helpfull and available to assist us with each and every teething problem we experienced during and after the installation.
With the alarming rate of fraudulent and unethical business practises, it is really very comforting to remain reassured of above average back-up service delivery from powerhouse Solar that has been in business here for some time in George!

Not a PowerHour Solar problem, but the Victron VRM interface is not that user-friendly in comparison with some other systems I have seen, but it works. The units themselves are well designed and robust and should provide a long life.
