Remodeling in the midst of COVID wreaked havoc on finding materials…especially trying to find a hearthstone. After visiting numerous stone places and looking online, I came across Easy Stone Center. The website indicated orders were only being accepted from existing customers. Seeing that, at first I didn’t bother inquiring. After many failed attempts with other companies, I decided to send an email inquiry anyway and hope for the best. I’m so glad I did!!! Mike took my order and was very helpful and responsive. Our hearthstone was delivered in a timely manner and all in one piece to us in CA!!! We couldn’t be more happy with how our new fireplace turned out.

Michael Kennedy and Easy Stone Center are Pros! The crafstmanship of the product is absolutely amazing. I was reluctant to order my hearth online at first, but was very comfortable after seeing how quick the response time was etc. After ordering, I was provided a detailed drawing with measurements. Upon my approval, the product was produced and shipped. The packaging crate/pallet was built like a tank and upon opening it, I was surprised by the craftsmanship of the construction of the pallet surrounding the hearth. This was packaged in a way that someone would have to be intentional about damaging it during transit or attempt to drive a truck over it :) Packaging and transit is always a little scary on a long lead time item like this. No way I wanted to open a damaged product and have to deal with the return freight issue and wait for another one to be made. I was so happy with the result from starting process, submittal, freight, transit and overall product.
The hearth was cut to precision and fit like a glove - absolutely perfect.

Reached out to Mike and he was able to schedule an accelerated delivery for a custom cut limestone hearth. The hearth stone arrived at my residence in Ann Arbor Michigan safe and secure in a custom wooden shipping crate. I opened the crate and was immediately impressed by the clean lines and quality work. My husband and I drove down on a Friday from MD to the Vienna VA location and we were able to specify what we wanted and discuss options briefly and easily with Mike Kennedy for our stone hearth. By Monday, we had a quote and a drawing. Just as Mike had predicted - two weeks later, we received an email and a photo of the finished hearth. We arranged to come and pick it up and Mike checked our vehicle and discussed transport with us with some tips. He got it loaded into our vehicle and we drove it back. Truly a dream interaction. We did the install (still have to finish our mantel and the flooring) and the finished result is already being appreciated on a daily basis as we move into the cold weather season. We HIGHLY recommend Mike Kennedy for a quality experience for the DIY who wants a beautiful hearth.

Excellent experience with Easy Stone!! The first time I called the owner, Mike answered the phone and sounded totally overwhelmed but still took my call. The website was showing they weren't taking new orders. I had recently ordered three samples and had read all the wonderful reviews. I was so disappointed that I might not get to use this company. He asked did I want to stay on the list to be called back for quotes once he caught up. I said yes please and surprisingly in a week I received my quotes and a notice the samples were shipped. Once I received the samples I immediately placed my order and was told 5-7 weeks before delivery. In about 2-1/2 weeks I got an email they were ready to ship. It arrived exactly as they said in the nice wooden crate in perfect condition. I can not wait to have it installed in my new home and I promise to post pictures! This crazy Louisiana weather is holding our new construction up! Use this company, you won't be disappointed at all!!!
