My wife and I are hosting our first healing, wellbeing & spirituality expo. Guided by our guides to do all this - its been a learning curve. All the stallholders and entry is free and we will support everyone as much as we can. Promoting the event is key to bringing people to us and it quickly became an issue when we couldn't secure the billboard outside our event venue. I had contacted Signcraft Kapiti (as per the requirements) and Helge responded promptly with everything I needed to know and then had to let them know it was not going ahead. Nine days later after pursuing other options I secured a site at a garden centre to put up a billboard. I was embarrassed to ask again but had to. On the Monday - I received a prompt and positive reply from Helge and it was all go including delivery. The other thing - I didn't have a clue how to put the sign up - another embarrassing moment. The universe timed it to meet Selwyn who popped into the garden centre just as I had turned up. He put the sign up for me and was so generous with his time and knowledge. So proud of the signage, it was perfect, and everyone we know who goes past, tells us! So overall this event is to promote my healing and wellbeing work that I will reestablish after the expo. If there are any proceeds from this expo it will go towards supporting the elderly to provide them with healing and wellbeing where I can, and help with venue hire at Atmore room in Otaki on Tuesdays. We are not aiming to make money but generally feel our people deserve a treat after the year we have had. The universe told us. The universe also provided us with awesome people like Helge and Selwyn - who have helped us with key tasks that are very important for this event to be successful.
