Kane recently solved my problem solved having lost 22,000 photos collected over 20 years. I thought there was no hope until CBIT was recommended to me. After just a few minutes of discussion with Kane he was able to re-assure me that the photos were still there but not available for me to use. In his words "A bit like having all the household food in the Pantry but unable to make a meal because I could not get access the pantry" what a lovely analogy!!
After further investigation Kane gave me details on the process of retrieval and its cost and I agreed to go ahead with the retrieval. It was an operation made more complex by the fact that some photos were on an old, but still operational Mac computer and the remainder on a new Mac. The original Mac was set up as the prime computer from which the printer worked and an Airport Utility saved data.
Kane involved me in deciding how to configure the new system, always explaining the pros and cons of decisions. Finally Kane came to my home to set up the whole system and connect a fail-safe backup.
I can't speak too highly of his work, his enthusiasm and his competence. I would be pleased to recommend to anyone who confronts a similar situation.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dean and Milena at CDFS for producing quality products giving me and my family a little more protection of our devices whilst living in a digitalised electronic world.
