Quotient and GDPR

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a regulation that intends to strengthen data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). Learn more about how GDPR affects you on the GDPR website.

Here’s how GDPR relates to Quotient.

Data center location, security and compliance

Quotient stores your data securely within Amazon Web Services (AWS), located in the US. We have a Data Processing Agreement with AWS that commits to the Model Contract Clauses, as set out in the GDPR. This means that via Quotient your data can be transferred to and stored in AWS regions which are outside of the EU, while still complying with GDPR. Read more about how we handle Privacy, Security, and Backups.

Access to your data and GDPR requests

As a Quotient account owner, you may request that we delete or provide a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

If you need to permanently delete customer data, you can make a ‘right to be forgotten’ request.
